​After several years away from my craft I am making a comeback to my first love and will be opening commissions in mid 2024!

I have been a professional artist for many years since earning my B.A. in Art from Johnson State College in Johnson, Vermont, but in reality, I have been drawing and painting for as long as I can remember.

I turned to colored pencil after trying practically every other medium and have fallen in love with the detail and depth that I can achieve with them.  I am drawn to images of animals, nature and birds bathed in sunlight and shadows. 

I work exclusively from photographs to create my vibrant, realistic images. I can create beautiful pet portraits from your photographs or, when possible, from photos I take myself. I also accept commissions for animals other than your own pets, such as wildlife, birds, marine life and so on.

In addition to commissions my site has a number of completed paintings available for purchase as well as art cards with my drawing images on them.

​I also offer art lessons to both children and adults.
